Bar PR Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with the bar's marketing goals and brand identity.
2. Build and maintain relationships with local media, influencers, and bloggers. Prepare press releases and pitch stories to secure media coverage.
3. Plan and execute promotional events, tastings, and launches to engage the community and increase visibility.
4. Oversee the bar's social media accounts, creating engaging content and responding to inquiries and comments to enhance customer engagement.
5. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for outreach and partnerships.
6. Write and edit promotional materials, newsletters, and website content to ensure brand consistency and accuracy.
7. Assist in managing communication during any crises or negative publicity to protect the bar's reputation.
8.Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and events, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in PR, marketing, or a related role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong organizational and project management skills.
5. Proficient in social media platforms and PR tools.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Creativity and a passion for the bar and hospitality industry.
8. Strong networking abilities and relationship-building skills.
9. Knowledge of bar trends and customer preferences.
10. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
