Job Description

Overall Function:
: Accounting Department Head
: Division Head, Accounting & Finance
Graduate of Bs in Accountancy, CPA
5 - 10 yrs experience
Supervises, monitors and evaluates the day to day operations of the Accounting Department to ensure accurate, efficient and prompt submission of accounting related reports and compliance to regulatory bodies.

Job Descriptions:
1. Performs analysis of financial performance and/or results of Company's operations on a monthly basis including calculation of Corporate Income Taxes and preparation of write-up for ManCom presentation, internal and external audits.
2. Performs daily and/or periodic activities of the Accounting Department:
a. Reviews of End-of-Day posting of OLS transactions to Financial Information System (FIS) b. Reviews and approves certifications, confirmation letters and other documents
c. Attends to reportorial requirements of creditors, stockholders and government regulatory bodies
d. Handles the queries or clarifications of clients, other departments and subsidiaries related to business operations that have direct impact to compliance, recording and statutory regulations.
3. Ensure adherence to Department's Operations Manual, Company policies, statutory regulations and accounting standards
4. Implements and monitors sound internal controls based on the Department's Operations Manual, Company policies and statutory regulations
5. Recommends improvements in the system or processes to be more effective and efficient.
6. Documents processes or updates operations manual to keep abreast of the business or government requirements.
7. Evaluates and monitors job performance of staff and subordinates through feedback mechanism such as employee appraisal, one-on-one discussion.
8. Performs all other relevant functions that may be assigned from time to time.
