Job Description
1.1 To co-ordinate planned and unplanned Preventive Maintenance activities as well as breakdown or shutdown of Facilities and equipments according to SDC PMS Process and to ensure the availability and reliability of all facility and equipments.
1.2 Reports to the F & E Superintendent. The group consists of the following Segments or Sections : Ground transport, IPE, Production support equipments and Floating Drydocks.
1.3 Main areas of responsibility for this position consist of supporting the preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, shutdown and major and minor maintenance activities, on various types of equipments situated in designated facility and yard areas.
1.4 The yard contain all of the following types of equipment, facilities, floating docks and jetties. Contacts for this equipments would commonly be production coordinator and supervisory personnel, assigned subordinates, Safety and Operations personnel, Quality Control Rep plus contractor and outside employees.
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1 Responsible for the inspection and monitoring of each sections equipments and prepare checklists for the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, yearly and or two years preventive maintenance system for each equipment & facilities.
2.2 Co-responsible for the periodic audits and implementations of corrective actions, physical validation during periodic maintenance, initiate BUD-1 and acknowledge CMMS alarm tasks.
2.3 Assist in the development and implementations of preventive maintenance procedures for all equipment, machineries, facilities, vehicles, light & heavy equipment.
2.4 Provide assistance and support in the dry-docking operations such as docking and undocking of vessel and other dry-dock works. Ensuring all support equipments and dock facility and its components are reliable and in good condition.
2.5 Responsible also to the breakdown of equipments in each section, prepare breakdown reports and initiate work order and submit to purchasing and P & E. Also, keep an eye to the process and after the accomplishment of work, ensure
that the work done is encoded to CMMS.
2.6 Ensures that production machines and equipment are functioning well to support the production to optimum quantity and high-quality jobs.
2.7 Oversees the implementation and execution of preventive maintenance and breakdown repair in such a manner that it will not affect the operational activities.
2.8 Reviews daily equipment status, reports and sees to it that breakdown is prevented and that any minor problem on the facilities and equipment is immediately attended using CMMS..
2.9 Control and maintain all maintenance records and the information according to the control of quality records procedures (CMMS) and for traceability purposes.
2.10 Co-ensures that all personnel are aware of the safety, health and environmental protection at all times.
