As a Direct Billings Staff will support the direct billing operations within the company. You will be responsible for assisting in the direct billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the team in improving efficiency and financial performance. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams, including Account Managers, Insurance Carriers, and Finance, to maintain exceptional client satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and a basic understanding of direct billing practices.

What you’ll be doing:
Team Support:
Assist and support the direct billing team in daily operations.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
Direct Billing Process Support:
Assist in the direct billing process, ensuring revenue is recorded accurately.
Follow standardized procedures and guidelines for direct billing activities.
Support the transition of Cash Receipts/Direct bill reconciliation into Epic for acquired entities.
Stakeholder Support:
Provide support to internal teams and external clients regarding direct billing practices.
Assist in gathering requirements and addressing concerns to optimize billing processes.
Data Analysis and Reporting Support:
Assist in the analysis of direct billing data to identify trends and patterns.
Help generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into direct billing performance.
Process Improvement Support:
Assist in evaluating existing direct billing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Support the implementation of process enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
Perform regular audits and quality checks on direct billing transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance billing or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
Basic knowledge of insurance policies, premiums, and billing procedures.
Proficient in using billing software and tools, with a basic understanding of accounting principles.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze billing data accurately.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Must be able to meet tight deadlines, with attention to detail.
Experience working with US/offshore clients.
Must maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor!
