Job Description

- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Bachelor in Science in Accountancy or Management Accounting (Non-negotiable)
- With at least 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and/or in Financial Statements preparation. (Non-negotiable)
- Preferably from Insurance Companies or Financial Institutions.
- Knowledgeable in Philippines Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) (Non-negotiable)
- Able to work with cross-functional teams
- Keen to details and highly committed
- Proficient in Excel, and any accounting software (Non-negotiable)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Ensure auto interface entries are complete and accurately posted in SAP.

o Reconcile auto interface entries posted in SAP daily.

o Raise concerns to officer, in case of any variances noted.

o Assist Officer in coordinating with other teams, in case of any discrepancies noted.

o Propose entries, as needed.

· Prepare a recording of journal entries in line with financial statement close process and deadlines

o Prepare entries to record Insurance Accounting transactions (premium adjustments, accrual of benefit expenses, etc.)

o Assist Officer in coordinating with other teams, in case of discrepancies noted.

· Prepare monthly reconciliation of Subsidiary ledger and General Ledger balances for accounts assigned to the Insurance Accounting.

· Preparation of payout for Facultative Re-insurance Payments (for GI)

o Create disbursement voucher for pay-out to facultative premium.

· Prepare various monthly and/or quarterly reports, as needed by the Management

o Accounts validation reports
o Insurance Commission reports
o Audit reports
o Assist in preparation of Financial Statement Disclosures
o Other reports, as needed
o Assist/collaborate with other Teams to further understand variances.
Salary:
35.000,00 ₱ Monthly
