Job Description
Job Summary
Application Specialist is a professional focused on carrying out end-user support, continuous improvement, and optimization of business application service operations, thus enabling high-quality end-user experience.
Productivity and Quality
• Ensure smooth and quality-assured transition of application features from development to production environments
• Actively develop continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations
• Actively develop the automation of existing manual activities to achieve a higher and consistent level of business application service delivery to business end-users
• Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving data & application related issues in a timely manner
• Run/Lead small to mid-sized projects related to operations
Collaboration
• Actively engage in onboarding of new joiners and foster collaboration among peers within the team
• Effectively communicate to stakeholders as part of incident/problem management
• Proactively establish and maintain good working relationships with business users and platform team members
• Increasingly interact with mid-level business leaders to align on their business application priorities related to operations
Leadership
• Develop excellent platform and business application know-how
• Proactively build up subject matter expertise and identify areas for further self-development
• Be a process owner for at least one operational activity in the platform
• Manage escalations related to operational topics in the platform
Compliance
• Complete all compliance obligations and trainings in a timely manner, if applicable along with guiding team members to do the same
• Thoroughly understand and coach junior colleagues on the compliance, security and operational responsibilities in your area of work
• Work with the platform to ensure adherence to Partners Group’s policies
Non-Exemption/Must Have
Must have an experience in Platform Relationship & Pipeline Management
Relationship and Pipeline Management:
- Dealcloud CRM
- Assentis reporting
Bachelor's Degree.
Knowledgeable in JAVA
Knowledgeable in Python
Knowledgeable in Snowflake
Proficient in SQL
Proficient in AWS
Experience in JIRA/Confluence/SCRUM
Experience in Data warehouse (ETL and Control-M)
Experience in Incident and Problem Management
Experience in ITSM (IT Service Management)
Experience in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
Knowledgeable in Dashboarding (Qlik)
Experience in promoting Code to production
Customer oriented and good communication
