Lathe Machine Operators (Turnero)

• Prepares the machines to process the raw materials;
• Adjusts specific settings, such as height and width;
• Ensures the materials used are the right size and refers to blueprints and parts plans as reference;
• Runs the lathe and other machines safely and efficiently and ensures machines are in good working condition;
• Ensures proper operation of the machine, so parts are manufactured correctly;
• Performs quality control inspections on all parts and components they fabricate, which includes comparing the finished parts to blueprints and other plans;
• Responsible for scheduling maintenance;
