Senior IP Core Engineer

Job Summary:
Responsible for IP Core research and development with the objective of improving IP Core network to be more robust, scalable, reliable, and up to date with latest international network technological advances and standards. Key areas of expertise must be Datacenter management, ISP Network Engineering and Design, Network virtualization and automation technologies. Manage and maintain current IP Core network and Datacenter facilities

Job Qualifications:
● Graduate of Computer Engineering, IT, or related courses
● Have at least 3 years experience in handling/working in an ISP or related network
● Experience on datacenter technologies, networking, and computer programs is a plus
● Good logical and analytical skills
● Good Communication and interpersonal skills
● Able to respond on IP Core emergencies on or off-office hours

Duties and Responsibilities
● IP Core Network Engineering and Design (key required technologies, BGP variants and OSPF variants)
● IP Core research and development on network improvement aspects aligned with current international standards
○ Network throughput
○ Network scalability
○ Network reliability
○ Network visibility and NMM systems
● Continuous development of network standards
● Administer crucial IP Core datacenter systems and IP Core network services
● Assist co-teams and co-department technical expertise needs most especially NOC requirements
● Manage and maintain current IP Core network and Datacenter facilities
● Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to IP Core Manager with supervision of IP Core Supervisor
● Attend and participate in weekly and monthly IP Core Manager meetings to discuss work progress and issue discussions
● Take and resolve IP Core network tickets that are escalated by NOC
● Performs other duties as assigned
