Job Description
• At least 8 years of solid background in end-to-end Project Management experience in
web/application development, preferably in the financial services industry
• Advanced knowledge of project management practices and concepts, PMP or Prince 2
Certification is preferred but not required
• Agile/SCRUM/ITIL trained/certified is preferred but not required
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end system implementation projects and budgets while
applying the best practices and concepts
• Strong inter-personal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all functional teams
and individuals in all levels
• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior management and lead project teams.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities especially in IT-related concepts, problems, and
issues
Key responsibilities:
• Manage all activities in the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and
controlling, and closing) across one or more lines of business
• Create, review and implement changes on internal innovation/ project management processes
in alignment with the enterprises policies and procedures
• Prepare project charter, business case and obtain approval for funding
• Identify and monitor work plan and all tasks needed to achieve project goals
• Implement control and reporting structures for project monitoring on risk and change based
on defined governance methods and standard processes (e.g. risks and issues mitigation and
assumptions clearances)
• Ensure compliance of infrastructure and applications with IT standards, policies and guidelines,
as well as other financial governing bodies (e.g. Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, AMLA Council, etc.)
• Consult, form, lead and coordinate project teams with business partners and all stakeholders
to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a
statement of work (cross-functional teams: Business, Technical, Operations, Legal, Procurement,
etc.)
• Oversee and contribute to sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors
