Are you an expert in closing deals and exceeding sales targets?

Join our team as a Business Development Manager and driving our new customer acquisition targets with marketing agencies in the UK, US and Dubai.

You will be selling sponsored blog posts and backlinks on websites to SEO Agencies.

Your role will drive our company’s revenue growth by onboarding SEO Agencies to spend on Influencer Labs monthly for their link building campaigns. With your expertise, we aim to expand our market presence and enhance customer satisfaction.

As our Business Development Manager, you will wield significant influence over the outcome of our sales efforts. Your ability to understand client needs, coupled with your persuasive communication skills, will be instrumental in closing deals effectively.

You are someone who is not just an employee, but capable of taking the business to the next level.

As this is a new start up, experience of working in an environment where there are still some manual processes and challenges of not fully integrated sales systems is a must. Our ideal candidate must be resourceful and understand that focus is currently on development of our customer experience as the first priority, and that revenue growth is vital to allow investment in development that will provide additional tools for internal users.

Responsibilities

● Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
● Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
● Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
● Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
● Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
● Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
● Assisting the Business Unit Manager in creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
● Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
● Managing and training a business development team
● Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that all requirements are met

Your Impact

● Achieve a closing rate of at least 80% on qualified leads.
● Generate a weekly sales revenue of a specified amount.
● Increase customer retention by 20% within the first quarter.
● Exceed monthly sales targets by 15% consecutively.
● Decrease the sales cycle duration by 10% through streamlined processes.
● Secure partnerships with a specific number of new clients per month.

Requirements

● Educated to degree level, in a relatable subject or similar suitable work experience.
● Have a proven track record of commercial success in sales or similar roles in a digital marketing/ SEO agency within the UK.
● Excellent Customer Service skills, able to nurture, support and change communication styles depending on the individual customer.
● Be commercially aware and able to deliver profitable proposals that meet internal guidelines.
● Understand how to drive cost of revenue and margins to achieve sales targets.
● Be organised and self-aware, consistently following up on leads and planning ahead.
● Strong IT skills.
● Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
● Drive and commitment to exceeding targets.
