Finance Officer

Objective:
Provide support to Finance department in optimizing cash flow and reporting.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecast
Will work closely with various departments to consolidate records, analyze data, and ensure that budgets are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
Monitor and manage accounts payable KPI and processes which includes verifying and processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments
Manage employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
Monitor and manage accounts receivable KPI and processes such as issuing invoices, monitoring timely and accurate customer payments, and following up on overdue accounts
Assist with day-to-day financial operations which include maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and managing petty cash
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain documentation for audit and annual tax preparation.
Work with financial software and systems to input, process and retrieve financial data
Responsible for maintaining and updating financial databases and generating financial reports using accounting software
Work with the HR Department in processing and approval requests from the Finance Manager for the transfer and crediting of Payroll
Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions and interactions
Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounts receivable/payables cycle
