Job Description
● Acts as the main point of contact with brokers, suppliers, and distributors in the region.
● Creates regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
● Supports Branch and Distributor Managers with day-to-day branch/area operations.
● Evaluates branches, distribution partners, and individual employees' performances to ensure they perform at the agreed performance level to support business growth and stability.
● Prepares and reviews the budget compliance for the area/region of responsibility.
● Analyzes regional market trends and discovers new growth opportunities.
● Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling
expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
● Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts supporting national objectives.
● Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
● Implements new sales strategies and techniques and provide training on them to other agents.
● Identifies the region's hiring requirements and selects and trains new salespeople to support operations of the assigned region.
● Communicates job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions, as well as employee enforcing policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or relevant field
● At least ten (10) years of in sales obtained from an FMCG organization
● Proven experience in managing and leading sales teams
● Proficient in basic accounting
● Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills.
● The ability to multitask, work under stress, and resolve conflict
● Sound organizational skills.
● The ability to motivate staff and lead a team
● Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
● Desire to work as a team with a result-driven and data-guided approach
● Does not go with the flow and have the desire to bring change/improvement to the organization
● Ability to travel as needed
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● Amenable to onsite work and shifting schedule
