Engineering & Service Senior Manager / Full Time/Makati/Urgent

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall operations of the Engineering Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineering Graduate, preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer
At least 10 years of managerial experience in HVAC, general equipment maintenance, and warranty management
Knowledgeable in kitchen, laundry equipment, and air-conditioning
At least 10 years of experience as a manager
Experience in after-sales service, parts sales, managing targets, contract negotiation, inventory forecasting, and accounts receivable management
Good customer service, negotiation, and presentation skills
High proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizes, plans, and coordinates all after-sales activities of the department
Maintains close liaison with customers and suppliers
Prepares summaries of parts sales forecasts for the division
Negotiates service contracts
Updates management on the progress of escalated service activities and acquires necessary resources
Assists in the formulation of short- and long-range planning and in the preparation of forecasts and other required reports
Prepares and/or reviews costing and selling prices to maximize contributions and win bids
Manages the credit and collection activities of the department, ensuring that accounts receivable is paid
Recruits and assigns qualified personnel to adequately cover customer service requests
Works closely with customers’ installation and maintenance engineers until every major piece of equipment purchased is installed and commissioned
Provides the necessary expertise in closing or finalizing sales negotiations and contracts
