Job Requirements and Preferences:
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: at least 4+ years
• Hands-on experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance Tester
• Experience in QA methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Background or familiarity in Automation Testing and other testing tools such as
Selenium, Jira, Apache Jmeter, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates some knowledge in projects related to and/or leveraging one or more of the
following areas related to systems configurations within the Insurance industry, including:
• Guidewire Testing Framework (GT-UI);
• GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and object-oriented programming;
• JAVA hosting, as well as utilization of web services that primarily use Java;
• Web services hosting and consuming, using the Guidewire studio toolkit;
• XLM Coding; XML, ANT, MAVEN and code repository such as Clear Case, SVN, TFS;
• Cogent communication, facilitation and presentations to and/or for all levels of
industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management.Some proven abilities and record of success within the industry or professional services
and consulting industries with emphasis in Financial Services and the Insurance industry.
Some proven abilities and record of success as a team member: understanding personal
and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid
relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and
feedback.
Some proven abilities and record of success delivering clear requests for information;
demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, leveraging MS Office (Word,
Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Google and other technologies appropriately to do so.
