Job Description

Configure and set up printing machinery for specific print jobs, considering factors such as substrate type, ink, color profiles, and print dimensions
Load flexible substrates, inks, and other materials onto the printing press
Adjust machine settings to control print quality, registration, and color accuracy
Conduct regular visual inspections and utilize measurement tools to ensure prints meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components
Troubleshoot and address technical problems that may arise during production, such as web tension issues, ink viscosity problems, and registration errors
Calibrate and maintain color profiles for accurate and consistent color reproduction
Coordinate with design and prepress teams to ensure print files are optimized for production
Additional duties may be assigned periodically as required
