Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting security configurations, assisting in the development and maintenance of security policies, and supporting security audits. This role requires a deep understanding of information security processes and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Domain: Baseline Configuration
Document existing configurations and policies related to security tools.
Ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness in documenting baseline configurations.

Domain: Security Policy
Assist in the development and execution of processes for reviewing, maintaining, and disseminating security policies.
Support the creation of policies that provide direction for the information security program, including conducting regular reviews and updates.
Aid in ensuring compliance with security policies, correcting violations, and managing the approval and tracking of policy exceptions.

Domain: Security Audit

Review the current state of compliance adherence, identify gaps, and recommend initiatives to close those gaps.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure documentation aligns with audit requirements.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the domain of information security.
Strong understanding of security policies, compliance, and baseline configurations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for various audiences.
Familiarity with security tools and audit processes is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
