Engineering Coordinator

Summary/Objective
The Engineering Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating the production
operations from tools, equipment and methods monitoring and implementation. This position involves overseeing project timelines, coordinating tasks among team members, and ensuring effective communication within the department. The Engineering Coordinator will collaborate with various stakeholders to streamline processes, and
contribute to the overall success of engineering projects.
Essential Functions
Key functions of your position include the following, but not limited to:
Project Coordination: Coordinate project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones. Facilitate communication and collaboration
Task Management: Assign task progress and provide support as needed to ensure timely completion.
Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication and cooperation. Foster a collaborative work
environment to enhance overall team productivity.
Process Optimization: Assist in identifying opportunities for process
improvement and implement streamlined procedures. Work closely with team to enhance efficiency in project execution.
Generation of Deburring Work Instructions in accordance with the customer’s blueprint/engineering drawings requirements.
Operation of 3D modeling and photo editing tools as needed for project requirements and work instructions.
Assistance in the generation of Quality and Engineering One Point Lessons as needed.
Conduct time studies to improve operational efficiency.
Maintenance: Oversee maintenance activities to ensure company’s assets, equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition.
Housekeeping: Monitor and ensure proper housekeeping practices (5S) within all the company’s departments especially within the production site/area.

Project Planning: Collaborate with engineering team to plan and execute projects efficiently. Ensure project plannings aligns with the organizational goals and
objectives.

This role operates in a professional office and production floor environment, requiring collaboration with various departments. Periodic visits to production areas are necessary for hands-on understanding of operations. Adherence to safety protocols and procedures is a must.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods in a standard office and production environment.
Manual dexterity to operate computer equipment and engineering tools.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with standard business hours. Flexibility may be required based on business needs.
Travel

Limited travel may be required for meetings, trainings, or visits to other company locations.
Required Education and Experience
Senior Highschool Graduate, Graduate of any related TechVoc relevant to the industry preferrable (ie. Technical Drafting, Conventional Machining, CNC Machining or the like).
Proven experience in a similar coordination role within an engineering environment.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Level 2 clearance
