DevOps Manager

Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
● 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or related leadership role, with a demonstrably
successful track record of leading and managing a team.
We seek an individual who embodies both technical leadership and architectural prowess. The ideal
candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
● In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies, and best practices.
● Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) and a strong understanding of
CI/CD pipelines.
● Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus.
● Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with configuration management tools like
Git.
● Deep understanding of system administration concepts (networking, storage, security).
Leadership and Communication:
● Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
● Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and
non-technical audiences.
● Proven ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
● Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving:
● Ability to translate business goals into a technical roadmap.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for continuous improvement.
AWS Expertise
● Proven experience architecting, managing, and optimizing infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, etc.) with a focus on cost optimization while prioritizing high availability, scalability, and performance.
● Deep understanding of AWS services and their capabilities to identify the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for various DevOps needs.
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (AWS CloudFormation and CDK with TypeScript a plus) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
● Familiarity with AWS security best practices and the ability to integrate them into the DevOps pipeline.
