Job Description
The Head of Transportation is pivotal in managing and optimizing our trucking operations. This position involves supervising business unit heads, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless transportation services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, industry expertise, and a passion for driving operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in transportation management, preferably in the trucking industry.
Strong leadership skills, decision-making abilities, and problem-solving acumen.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance.
Proficiency in using transportation software and analytics tools.
