HR ASSISTANT FOR CONSTRUCTION COMPANY - EASTWOOD QUEZON CITY
Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant who will be responsible for helping in overseeing recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving employee engagement initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, labor law regulations, and employee engagement techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Writing job descriptions and posting them on appropriate platforms.
Screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
Coordinating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Conducting background checks and verifying references.
Negotiating job offers and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
Labor Law Compliance:

Staying updated on local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
Ensuring the organization's policies and practices are compliant with labor laws.
Advising management and employees on employment law matters.
Handling employee relations issues, such as disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with legal requirements.
Managing legal documentation related to employment contracts, terminations, and other HR matters.
Collaborating with legal counsel when necessary to address complex legal issues.
Employee Engagement:

Developing and implementing strategies to foster employee engagement and retention.
Conducting surveys and gathering feedback to assess employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Organizing events and initiatives to promote a positive work culture and team morale.
Providing support and resources for employee training and development.
Implementing recognition and reward programs to acknowledge employee contributions.
Addressing concerns and conflicts to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment.
Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related (essential).
At least 1-2 years of experience as an HR.
Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
Effective HR administration and people management skills.
Exposure to engagement activities.
Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
