Senior Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning and startup activities related to wastewater treatment systems. This role requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles, strong project management abilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules for wastewater treatment projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and client expectations.
Manage junior commissioning engineer and STP operators.
Lead and oversee the execution of commissioning activities, including equipment installation, system testing, and performance verification.
Conduct thorough inspections and functional tests to ensure compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet performance targets.
Document all commissioning activities, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and corrective actions.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to operational staff during system startup, training, and handover phases.
Collaborate closely with design engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of commissioning activities with overall project objectives.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the commissioning process, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Licensed Chemical Engineer
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning and startup of wastewater treatment systems.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex commissioning projects from planning through to completion.
Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, equipment operation, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
