Finance Officer

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our accounting team as an Finance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
Monitor and manage accounts payable to ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support various business initiatives.
Perform regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Stay current with accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
Provide support for external audits as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
