Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to our internal users, ensuring smooth operation of all IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software applications.
Troubleshoot and support connectivity for VPN, LAN, and wireless networks.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT support activities and user requests.
Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams.
Assist in the implementation and testing of IT projects and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Proven experience (2+ years) as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Office 365 experience preferred).
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
