Job Description

The Cost Accountant will play a crucial role in analyzing our production costs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities:
 Analyze production costs and variances to ensure accuracy and identify
opportunities for cost savings.
 Prepare and maintain product cost standards, including material, labor and
overhead cost savings.
 Collaborate with production and procurement teams to monitor inventory levels
and reconcile discrepancies.
 Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling
accounts and analyzing financial data
 Conduct regular audits of manufacturing process to ensure compliance with
internal controls and accounting standards.
 Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing insights into cost
drivers and trends.
