Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-line support for all IT-related issues, including software, hardware, network, and telecommunications.
2. Respond to technical queries from staff and guests promptly and professionally.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems, escalating to senior IT staff when necessary.
4. Perform routine maintenance on IT systems, including updating software, running diagnostics, and monitoring system performance.
5. Ensure all systems are secure and up-to-date with the latest patches and antivirus software.
6. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the hotel's network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks.
7. Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues.
8. Provide technical assistance to guests, ensuring a positive experience with the hotel's IT services, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, in-room entertainment systems, and business center equipment.
9. Manage and support the hotel's guest-facing technology, including check-in kiosks, digital signage, and mobile applications.
10. Conduct training sessions for hotel staff on the use of IT systems and software applications.
11. Create and maintain user manuals and documentation for internal use.
12. Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment, ensuring proper tracking, usage, and disposal.
13. Coordinate with vendors for the procurement and repair of IT equipment.
14. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and hotel policies.
15. Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect hotel and guest data.
16. Assist with IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new system implementations.
17. Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Previous experience in IT support, preferably within the hospitality industry.
3. Proficient in Windows and Mac OS environments.
4. Strong knowledge of networking protocols and hardware.
5. Experience with hotel management software (PMS, POS) and other hospitality-related technologies.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary:
17.000,00 ₱ Monthly
