AU Senior Accountant (WFH)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of our organization. Your expertise and knowledge in accounting principles and best practices will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial information and compliance with regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Check/identify errors in the Balance sheet and profit and loss and be able to fix the problem or errors
General ledger and balance sheet (needs someone who needs to read and knows how to make those changes if there are any errors)
checking up with bank recon if done correctly and figure out how to correct it.
Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare and review budgets and forecasts, providing recommendations for cost reductions and revenue improvements
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts
Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements
Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role is required.
Well-versed in Excel, FBT, GST
Should know what needs to be paid or not paid if you are doing a payroll tax return
Has Prior experience drafting consolidated financial statements.
Should understand transaction rollout.
Experience with doing month-end accounts and reports and payroll.
Must be confident and have good English communication.
Reliable internet connection & home office setup. (Preferably i5 specs and 60 MBPS speed.)
Can start ASAP.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
