Job Summary:

The Dining Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining quality standards. This role involves managing staff, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Management:

Oversee and manage the dining room staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Conduct training sessions for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.

Customer Service:

Greet and seat guests, ensuring a welcoming and hospitable environment.
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Ensure high standards of service and quality are maintained.

Operations:

Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper setup.
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
Manage reservations and walk-in guests to maximize seating efficiency.

Quality Control:

Inspect dining areas, table settings, and utensils to ensure standards are met.
Oversee the presentation and quality of food and beverages.
Implement and maintain health and safety regulations.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment.
Prepare reports on staff performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning as required.
