Marketing Officer

JOB SUMMARY
Assists in strategizing and executing overall marketing initiatives. Assist in being a gatekeeper of the company’s brand identity. This includes, but is not limited to the following platforms: website marketing, event marketing, social media handles, direct marketing, or media management.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily
● Ensure company collaterals are always available by printing Company Profiles and List of Projects
● Assist the Marketing Creative with any printed collaterals requested
● Raise forms and track Marketing Communications Cash Advance, Check Requests, and other Finances
● Keep track of marketing-related inventory such as, but not limited to: corporate gifts, merchandise, etc.
● Send Press Bites to colleagues of noteworthy clippings on the Sustainability and Energy Industry
Weekly Tasks
● Assist in coordinating with departments for Marketing Communications efforts
● Assist in contacting and coordinating with suppliers
● Assist in researching for content for marketing campaigns and promotions
Monthly Tasks
● Assist with event planning and coordination
● Assist in creating photo and video content for social media and marketing communications campaigns
Other Tasks
● Assist Marketing Communications Team with all projects
● Assist with media relations
● Assist in coordinating with memberships (ex. Rotary, GPCCI, BWC, BNI, among others)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
● Must have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related courses, and a minimum of internship experience
in a marketing internship.
▪ Excellent written and oral communication in the English language
▪ Work requires professional written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
▪ Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
▪ Demonstrates social media savviness
▪ Project Management experience, preferably with internal program is preferred
▪ Proven ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
▪ Proficient across the Microsoft Office suite
▪ Work requires independence and initiative
