JOB OBJECTIVES:
To deliver the best dental care service to patients within the established scope of operations and available resources; To manage the entire scope of clinical issues and ensure the clinic is in good operating condition conducive to delivering our branch promise to our patients.
Duties and responsibilities:
*Clinical
1. Provides consultation services, diagnosis and provides dental services to patients such as, but not limited to, basic dental procedures and special cases based on capacity, skills and experience;
2. Educates patients on general oral health care and post-operative procedures;
3. Consults with the Dental Director or authorized mentor in preparing treatment plan and complicated dental cases;
4. Promotes other services that the clinic offers during the consultation based the needs of the patient and upsell;
5. Supervises and coaches junior dentist/s and Dental Assistants within established operational regulations;
6. Ensures that proper infection control is established in the clinic.
7. Records accurately all relevant information whatever findings/discussions with patients on the patient chart as sales and clinical references of the future.
*Admin.
1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic and supervise staff’s adherence to established operations regulations.
2. Carries out, models out, and implements company policies, procedures, and clinic protocols accordingly.
3. Ensures facilities, equipment, staff, and logistics are in optimum working synergy to serve our patients.
4. Ensures that all company properties in the clinic are accounted for and defects/losses are reported within 24 hours.
5. Maintains contact with suppliers, contractors, building administrators, and utility companies to lessen the downtime of the clinic created by equipment in need of repairs during emergency situations.
6. Monitors staff performance and compliance with company rules and regulations;
7. Resolves work-related problems or concerns of staff and issues reprimand memos on violations of first-level established operations regulations;
8. Handles patient’s complaints, notifies superior of such occurrences, and executes remedies as directed by the Operations Officer or Dental Director/authorized mentor;
9. Recommends/proposes plans to increase sales and public awareness.
10. Creates reports as directed by the Head Office.
11. Inform front desk personnel of the treatment plan of the patient for follow-up and scheduling process
12. Approves petty cash requests and ensures that the petty cash fund, change fund, and sales collection are intact. Cash collection should be deposited/remitted to the depository bank within the scope of established accounting regulations.
13. Ensures that customer payments are properly managed.
14. Approves requisition for stock replenishment parallel to the branch's operational needs.
15. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
