Pollution Control Officer - TSD (Treatment Storage and Disposal)

Green Innovations is a wastewater company now venturing into a new business model focused on providing comprehensive Treatment, Storage, and Disposal (TSD) services for hazardous and non-hazardous waste in the Philippines. Our mission is to promote environmental sustainability by ensuring safe and efficient waste management practices.

The Pollution Control Officer (PCO) will be responsible for ensuring that the company's operations comply with all environmental laws and regulations. The PCO will oversee the implementation of environmental policies, manage waste treatment processes, and liaise with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance.

Ensure compliance with the Philippine Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, and other relevant environmental laws and regulations.
Liaison Officer for compliance of documents and reports to DENR - Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and EMB Region 3.
Prepare, submit, and manage environmental compliance documents and permits, including the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and Self-Monitoring Reports (SMRs).
Prepare, submit, and maintain all required environmental permits and reports.
Serve as the primary contact for environmental regulatory agencies.
Develop and implement environmental management systems and policies.
Conduct regular environmental audits and risk assessments.
Oversee the proper segregation, storage, treatment, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Monitor air, water, and soil quality parameters to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring data and incidents.
Prepare and submit periodic environmental performance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
Respond to environmental incidents and emergencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
Investigate environmental complaints and non-compliance issues, and implement corrective measures.
Documentation for TSD, familiarity with the process and compliance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accreditation by DENR or the ability to obtain certification within a specified period. – Level 2
Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within TSD (Treatment Storage and Disposal).
In-depth knowledge of Philippine environmental laws and regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
