GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Head of Supply Chain will be primarily in-charge in supporting the CFO and/or COO in the overall supply chain needs and excellence strategies, and policies, and processes for the efficient, effective, and compliant execution of supply chain and operations, especially field operations, including procurement, inventory and forecasting management, warehousing, logistics, importation (including shipment and customs efficiency), administrative processes, office premises, travel, insurance and must oversee all supply, demand and distribution matters up until the monitoring of the movement of goods and services, ensure that things are delivered on schedule (without compromising validity or perishability and while reducing costs) and in good, sellable or safe condition and at a reasonable rate
The Head of SC will be principally responsible and accountable in directing Supply Chain Department and in leading the team’s vital contribution towards financial well-being and sustainable growth by setting its vision, mission, and values through long-term planning and analysis to be realized and by achieving its future direction.
SPECIFIC ROLES & DUTIES

Seeks to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes
Works closely with the IT or other departments to create effective database to manage and organize warehouse inventory
Develops a strategy for sourcing materials domestically and internationally
Identifies storages where necessary, establish relationships, and vet options to secure supply
Leads negotiations and manage purchase orders
Develops inventory management systems for end-to-end supply chain visibility
Works with Finance and Demand Planning to ensure proper supply to serve demand
Solves critical issues with supply in collaboration with all stakeholders and concerned departments
Manage people from Supply Chain Department with optimum efficiency, productivity, and effectivity
Maintains a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values
Seeks out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods
Organizes and oversees inventory by keeping a detailed database of available inventory and expected usage per project
Negotiate best-price contracts to increase business revenue
Plans and implement supply chain optimization projects
Improves supply chain data, information, and processes
Improves all aspects of the supply chain by streaming steps and locating the best prices for inventory
Conceptualizes large-picture projects and forsees challenges needs to be addressed
Top level-understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes:
Strategy Management of Company’s Raw Materials, Suppliers, Consumers, Warehousing/ Storages, Inventory and Distribution
Strategic SC Management: Procurement, Importation & Shipment, Logistics, Warehouse & Inventory Management, Planning, Demand and Supply, Vendor Management, Customer Service
Manage and Trouble shoot variations in demand
Review and revise ERP requisition inventory allocations and recommendations
Manage production and warehouse team
Analyze financial and operating data to create KPI’s for the monitoring progress
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Must be a very strong team player capable of working in a fast-pace environment.
EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or any equivalent or related field; Master’s Degree in Business Administration a related field is plus
Certifications or accreditations from the Supply Chain Professionals network or from prestigious organization is highly desirable. Supply Chain Management certification
WORK EXPERIENCE

10+ years’ experience in a leadership role (as SC Head/ Director/ VP or up) managing extensively the end-to-end supply chains
5+ years experience in the Restaurant QSR or F&B sector with strong understanding of inventory management, demand and supply forecasting and distribution, procurement, logistics processes involved
3-5 years of relevant experience in import and export purchasing and customs management and shipment and understanding of the international trade regulations and customs compliances
Proven track record of driving process improvement and implementing best practices in operations and supply chain management
Strong systematic approach, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to conduct regular check on processes
Experience with ERP and other supply chain software
In-depth knowledge familiarity of different business functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Store or Restaurant Operations, IT/ Business infrastructure, etc.
Exposed to data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Worked in a start-up enterprise and had been delivering under pressure and could thrive in a fast-paced environment
Pro-active and willing to do what is required to get the job done.
