Area Manager

Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of operations from store appearance and maintenance, store
inventory and store personnel hiring, training and development. Conducts routine branch
audits to determine the needs of each store. Sales and marketing data analysis/evaluation. Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction rate. Main Responsibilities:
Sales Management and Business Development
· Monitor and achieve store performance with Key Performance Indicators of assigned
stores.
· Ensure that Sales Associates can deliver the Ashley selling techniques to every customer.
· Ensure that all marketing directives (national and local) are followed and executed. Support them with consistent coaching, identifying their development and training needs.
· Ensure all staff have sufficient knowledge of the products and categories
· Provide consistent and qualitative feedback to the team and coach them
· Execute in store training routine
Store Operations
· Ensure all policies, standards and company procedures are communicated and
implemented
· Maintain a clean and safe store environment and implement general housekeeping duties
as
necessary
Inventory Management
· Ensure that merchandise is properly received, displayed, stored and maintained by team
members
Visual Merchandising
· Ensure visual merchandising is maintained according to guidelines, both in the window
and in-store
displays, in order to maximize sales and merchandise turn
· Know the best sellers and make sure you always have them displayed.
· Push sales of slow-moving items to make way for new products.
