Job Description

O Oversees the effective and efficient receiving of materials, office supplies and equipment from External Providers; transferring of materials from other Warehouses; releasing of products to Logistics and receiving of returned products from Customers as well as ensuring completeness and accuracy of shipping documents such as Delivery Receipt, Sales Invoice and other Certifications related to the materials/products.

o Partners with the Top Management in developing or implementing plans for storage and distribution activities that emphasize technological solutions for sustainability, such as investment in smart or eco friendly storage containers, dynamic distribution networks, warehouse innovations or fuel efficient fleets.

o Develops warehouse, storage and distribution models that include factors such as warehouse locations, customer locations, or available transportation modes to maximize operational efficiency or sustainability.

o Evaluates locations for new warehouses or distribution networks to determine their potential usefulness.

o Prepares, reviews and updates Warehouse and Logistics table of organization and plantilla on a periodical basis or as needed in alignment with the corporate strategic business needs of the organization

o Represents the Warehouse and Logistics department in all management activities including Strategic Planning Meetings, Management Committee Meetings, Management Review sessions and others.

o Conducts Risk Assessment and Identification of opportunities for the established processes and tasks in the assigned department.

o Ensures proper communication and cascading of department OGSM to all Warehouse and Logistics personnel.

o Works with the Top Management in developing and implementing plans for facility/warehouse modification or expansion such as equipment purchase or changes in space allocation or structural design to ensure efficient utilization of Company-owned warehouses and minimize lease of third party warehouses.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or any Engineering/Business course preferably with Certifications in Supply Chain Management

-At least ten (10) years of extensive work experience as Warehouse and Logistics Manager in a food manufacturing industry. With trainings and seminars on Food Safety, GWP, SCM, QMS, OSH and among others is a plus
