Job Description
1. Verifies business & financial references of prospective suppliers.
2. Recommends potential suppliers to procurement section.
3. Coordinates trial orders with new suppliers
4. Oversees delivery dates, quality of production & sufficiency of product.
5. Negotiates terms of payment with suppliers
6. Identifies and implements preferred payment methods.
7. Maintains current knowledge of external factors that could affect availability of goods & pricing.
8. Ensures import documents are in compliance with customs & government regulations.
