Job Description

• Assist in managing kitchen staff, training, and performance management.
• Monitors Food Safety and Quality
• Assist in the research and development of new products for our menu
• Prepares recipes for kitchen team
• Monitors the performance of the chefs, /line cook and makes sure they follow kitchen standards Complete all appropriate company documentation and other tasks on every shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment that meets all regulatory requirements
• Comply with standard practices and procedures
• Orders and manages food stocks and supplies.
• Collaborates with Chefs, and other members of the Kitchen Team, to improve food quality, efficiency, and maintain food safety standards.
• Help develop and execute menu plans that meet the needs of the business and its customers.
• Ensure that all food is prepared to high-quality standards and is presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
• Order and manage inventory of all kitchen supplies, including food, equipment, and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor food costs and ensure that they are in line with budgetary goals.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and other members of the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, kitchen efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and best practices.

Job Specification:
• Graduates (culinary/TESDA course) is advantage
• Experience in kitchen leading Japanese operations restaurant is required.
• Can prepare, cook and present food efficiently and quickly (hot kitchen and sushi)
• Has working experience in leading the kitchen group
• Knowledge in food costing, food safety and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment
• Knowledge in Food, Safety and Sanitary practices.
