Compliance and Data Privacy Officer

JOB SUMMARY
-Responsible to monitor the Corporate Compliance and Data Privacy Program.
-To Ensure that all business operations are in accordance with the laws and regulations.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance Responsibilities
-Develop and implement effective legal compliance program
-Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries
and compliance violations.
-Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies and legal
requirements as well as internal policies and bylaws.
-Coordinate with other departments to identify compliance issues and direct
them to the right channels for further investigations.
-Consult with a corporate attorney to resolve the compliance issues.
-Train employees concerning the company's compliance program.
Data Privacy Act Responsibilities
-Guides the company and employees how to be a DPA 2012 compliant
-Create internal policies and make sure the company is following in
accordance with the guidelines.
-Raises awareness and provide staff training for any employees involved with
processing activities.
-Gives awareness and recommendations to the company about the
interpretation or application of the DPA
-Handles complainants or requests by the institutions or the data subject
-Reports any failure to comply with the DPA policies
-Assists the General Manager
Other Task
-Assists the General Manager
-Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, legal
management or a related field. With at least 2-3 years related work
experience.
Skills Required: Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures. Brilliant
oral and written communication skills. Highly-analytical with strong attention to
detail.
