DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Create and recommend signature drinks based on customer preferences.
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take drink orders, provide recommendations, and engage in conversations to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in mixology by accurately measuring, mixing, and presenting drinks.
- Stay updated on current beverage trends and continually expand drink repertoire.
- Input drink orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and process payments accurately.
- Handle cash transactions, give change, and maintain an organized cash drawer.
- Promote daily specials, happy hour offerings, and upsell premium beverages.
- Encourage customers to try new or signature drinks.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Monitor and restock bar inventory, including garnishes, glassware, and spirits.
- Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating customer needs and preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to responsible beverage service guidelines and legal drinking age requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, barbacks, and serving staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate service during peak hours.
- Train and mentor new bar staff on beverage preparation techniques, customer service, and company policies.
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge in mixology and customer service.
