Job Description

1. Responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register or other point-of-sale system in a retail environment.
2. Ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment, and giving appropriate change.
3. Responsible for counting the contents of the cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts and records.
