Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; CPA preferred.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
• Proven experience in legal practice, with a focus on corporate law and compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters and provide strategic advice.
• Experience in managing legal teams and external legal counsel.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
• Willingness to travel as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the company's legal affairs, including corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to support business objectives.
• Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Manage litigation and other legal disputes, working with external legal counsel as needed.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Advise on legal matters related to finance, taxation, and accounting.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations.
• Lead and mentor the legal team, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with other departments to address legal issues and mitigate risks.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.
• Prepare and present legal reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and implement legal training programs for employees.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all legal matters.
SALARY:
• P90,00 - P160,000
