As we navigate the complex regulatory landscape, we are seeking a dedicated Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead our interactions with various government agencies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Position Summary: Experienced Regulatory Affairs

Manager will oversee all regulatory activities and engagements with government agencies involved in the renewable energy sector. The Regulatory Affairs Manager will play a critical role to ensure & complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards while advocating for policies that support our mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance:
Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, policies, and requirements relevant to the renewable energy industry in the Philippines.

Ensure the operations, products, and services comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks governing energy generation, distribution, and environmental protection.

2. Government Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.

Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to influence policy development and regulatory decisions.

Represents the company in meetings, hearings, and consultations with government officials to advocate for favorable regulatory outcomes.

3. Permitting and Licensing:
Coordinate the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, permits, licenses, and other compliance documentation.

Liaise with regulatory agencies to expedite the review and approval process for permits and licenses required for project development and operation.

Ensure that all regulatory submissions are accurate, complete, and submitted within specified deadlines.

4. Compliance Repoting:
Prepare and submit regulatory reports, disclosures, and notifications as required by government agencies.

Maintain documentation and records related to regulatory compliance activities, including permit approvals, inspection reports, and correspondence with regulators.

5. Risk Management and Strategy:
ldentify regulatory risks and opportunities that may impact company's business operations and strategic objectives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, operations, and finance teams, to assess regulatory implications and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Provide proactive guidance and recommendations to senior management on regulatory matters affecting the company's business.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, government relations, or related roles, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, policies, and procedures governing the energy industry in the Philippines.

Strong understanding of environmental regulations, energy market dynamics, and renewable energy technologies.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with government officials, industry stakeholders, and internal teams.

Proven track record of successfully managing regulatory compliance activities and government engagements.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.

Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate regulatory trends and proactively address emerging issues.
