Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Heavy Equipment Operators drive and control large equipment and vehicles, this equipment includes bulldozers, forklifts, backhoes, dump trucks, cargo trucks, and/or hydraulic truck cranes, among other tools.
2. Able to conduct regular inspections and ensure that the equipment remains in working order and able to adhere to the construction guidelines and safety protocols at all times.
3. Ensuring that the worksite is cleared of any debris and construction materials. and should communicate any site accidents and injuries to the Site Supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Loading and unloading construction materials like rocks and debris
2. Operate, drive, and control heavy equipment according to the placement and removal of materials
3. Have complete knowledge of machine settings.
4. Maintaining the equipment in proper working condition
5. Keep performance records of machine functionality regularly.

7. Comply with the company’s safety policies and procedures.
8. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluations of equipment.
9. Perform minor repairs and report issues for larger repairs.
10. Communicating any injuries and accidents to the Construction Project Manager and Site Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven work experience as an Equipment Operator, Crane Operator, or a similar role in the Construction industry
Complete knowledge in operating heavy machineries like back hoe, payloader, bulldozer, and dumb truck.
Ability to operate both manual and automatic equipment
Excellent physical dexterity
Knowledge of industry safety procedures and guidelines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A team player and ability to work independently
