As a Recruitment Officer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring talented individuals. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that you attract top-tier candidates who align with the company's values and objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization in the maritime sector.
Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and Attraction: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to attract qualified candidates for diverse roles within the maritime industry.
• Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for specific positions.
• Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.
• Interviewing: Conduct interviews with candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization.
• Selection Process: Facilitate the selection process by gathering feedback from interviewers, conducting reference checks, and collaborating with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions.
• Offer Management: Extend offers of employment to successful candidates, negotiate terms, and ensure a smooth transition through the onboarding process.
• Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback to candidates at every stage.
• Recruitment Metrics: Track and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction, to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the maritime industry or a related field.
• Familiarity with maritime roles, qualifications, and industry-specific requirements is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR tools is preferred.
