Clinical Document Specialist

This role is an open-end contract position with a hybrid work setup. Please apply only if you are amenable to these terms.

The Clinical Document Specialist assists in clarifying documentation regarding patient diagnoses and/or procedures, co-morbid conditions, complications, and any other related data for reporting. The work involves the use of proprietary software to generate clarifications, or the questions addressed to a physician to obtain additional documentation to improve the specificity and completeness of the chart documentation elements used to assign diagnosis and procedure codes or other reportable data elements within the health record.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Must be a registered nurse.
Must be able to travel to Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Hospital experience in the ER or Critical Care Unit is a must.
Clinical documentation review and ICD-10-CM coding experience are preferred.
CDS certification is preferred but not required.
