Job Description

Purple Cow is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketer. You will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to navigate the intricacies of Choozle, our demand-side platform (DSP) to place ads, create quotes, and generate insightful campaign reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. DSP Management:
- Proficient in using the Choozle DSP to execute programmatic advertising campaigns across various channels, including display, video, mobile, audio, and digital out-of-home.
- Set up and configure ad campaigns within Choozle, ensuring accurate targeting, budget allocation, and creative assets.
- Monitor real-time bidding (RTB) for ad placements, adjusting bids as needed to maximize campaign performance.
- Understand data segments and apply them effectively to enhance audience targeting.
2. Ad Placement and Reporting:
- Collaborate with our sales team and designers to strategically place ads where they’ll have the most impact.
- Generate accurate quotes for clients based on campaign requirements, pricing models, and ad inventory.
- Have an in-depth familiarity with the data catalog (third party audiences) within Choozle. Know how best to leverage them and build a more effective ad campaign for our clients.
- Regularly analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, impressions, conversions) and create comprehensive reports for clients. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Implement A/B tests to evaluate different ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies.
3. Client Communication:
- Liaise with clients to understand their advertising goals, objectives, and KPIs.
- Keep clients informed about campaign progress, milestones, and any necessary adjustments.
- Address any technical issues related to ad delivery, tracking, or performance promptly.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with our sales team, designers, and account managers to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
- Provide clear and concise creative briefs to designers for ad creatives.
- Share insights and learnings with the team to continuously improve campaign strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years in digital advertising, preferably with hands-on experience using DSPs.
- Proficient in using Choozle or similar DSPs. Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts, RTB, and data management platforms (DMPs).
- Ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends, and optimize performance.
- Precise execution of campaign setup, targeting, and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Quick thinker who can troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams.
