Material Control Manager

Manager Control Manager will manage and coordinate the distribution of materials for production. Performs analysis of materials and determines optimum control level. They also manage day-to-day material control activities of the company and manage inventory and purchasing procedures of raw materials and other supplies used in our company.

I. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Conducts actual counting of inventory materials.
Ensures the availability of materials needed in production.
Ensures a minimum stock level of all production consumables
Demonstrates a working knowledge of lean manufacturing/warehouse.
Demonstrates working knowledge of information systems and design management specially for Warehouse.
Demonstrates working knowledge of service systems designs and management specially for Warehouse.
Demonstrates working knowledge level of all facets of Logistics.
Demonstrates sound knowledge of supply chain management.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of warehouse classification, management, and other related principles.
Captures work instructions accurately and propose for fast issuing of materials needed for production.
Follows specific directives/work instructions from the top management.
Exemplifies cleanliness and orderliness within the area of responsibility
Achieves work targets on time.
Manages business changes effectively.
Ensures that all delivered items are supported by necessary documents (i.e. Delivery receipts, etc.)
Keeps confidential records accordingly.
Maintains an updated daily request of materials
II. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related course
Preferably five (5) years’ experience in Managerial Level specialized in Materials Control and Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
Proficient with inventory reporting systems.
Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
Ability to organize and supervise large scale storekeeping and distribution activities; establish and maintain effective working relationships; present ideas clearly orally and in writing.
III. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Good leadership skills, capable of managing and leading a team
Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.

Salary: Php35,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
