Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Email and SMS Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting engaging and persuasive email and SMS marketing messages tailored to the e-commerce industry. As an Email and SMS Copywriter, you will collaborate closely with our internal teams to develop compelling content that drives customer engagement, retention, and conversion. If you have a keen understanding of e-commerce trends, experience working with Email Service Providers (ESPs), and a knack for writing effective copy, we encourage you to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
Submit work to editors for input and approval
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate emails
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Attention to detail: Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling

Skills & Requirements:
At least 2 years of work experience as a Direct Response Copywriter, Content Writer, Email/SMS Copywriter, Email marketing specialist, or similar roles
Knows using Klaviyo and other ESPs
Portfolio is required
Good research skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Creative
Problem solver
Willingness to learn and grow
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Understands how to use different tonalities in their writing

Good to have:
Knowledge or experience in the e-commerce, digital marketing, and email marketing space
Knowledge or experience working with digital marketing agencies
