Job Description

TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
A. Job Objective:
A Talent Acquisition Specialist, also known as a Recruiter, plays a crucial role in the human resources
function by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for an organization. Their job is to ensure that
the company has a skilled and qualified workforce to meet its business objectives.

C. Duties and Responsibilities:
BROAD FUNCTIONS
1. Job Posting and Advertising
 Write and post job descriptions on various job boards, company websites, and social media
platforms.
 Develop and implement effective strategies for promoting job openings.
2. Candidate Sourcing
 Proactively source potential candidates through various channels such as job boards,
professional networking sites, social media, and industry events.
 Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
3. Screening and Qualification
 Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
 Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
4. Interviewing
 Coordinate and conduct interviews, either in-person or virtually, with hiring managers and
team members.
 Assess candidates' suitability for specific roles and provide feedback to stakeholders.
5. Relationship building
 Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience
throughout the recruitment process.
 Network and engage with potential candidates to establish a talent pool.
6. Collaboration with Hiring Managers
 Work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and requirements.
 Provide guidance on market trends, candidate availability, and recruitment best practices.
7. Offer Negotiation and Closure
 Facilitate the negotiation of job offers, ensuring competitive and fair compensation.
 Coordinate the final stages of the recruitment process, including reference checks and
background screenings.
8. Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Management
 Utilize and maintain the ATS to track and manage candidate progress throughout the recruitment
process.
 Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and status.
9. Recruitment Analytics
 Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source
effectiveness.
 Use data to improve recruitment strategies and processes.
Others
 Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends.
 Propose and implement process improvements within the HR function.
 Performs other tasks that may be assigned.
D. Job Authority
 Safekeeping of recruitment files and sourcing account (Indeed, Linkedin, Jobstreet, Outsource)
 Represents Company in Jobfair, PESO fair
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS PREFERRED MINIMUM
Work Experience At least 2 years related experience

in the same field

Educational Background Graduate of BS Psychology or
Human Resource Management or
any related field

Computer Literacy  MS Excel, MS Word, MS
PowerPoint, MS Outlook,
Microsoft Teams
 Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and
other HR-related tools.
Skills/ Licenses/Expertise Proven experience as Recruiter or
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Strong understanding of
recruitment best practices and
employment laws
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
Proficient is using ATS and other
recruitment tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-
