Maple Bear Canadian schools originated from the efforts of the Canadian Education Centre Network (CECN) to promote Canadian education abroad. Recognizing a demand for bilingual Canadian education, the first Maple Bear school opened in India in 2005. Since then, Maple Bear has expanded globally, with over 560 schools in 35+ countries, emphasizing a student-focused learning environment grounded in Canadian methodology and curriculum, including play-based learning to foster holistic child development. The program aims to prepare students for success at a post-secondary level while nurturing a lifelong passion for learning.
