Accounting System Implementation Officer

Job Objective/s

The role serves as the business lead for the implementation and administration of the financial accounting system and other systems owned by and affecting the Controllership group or processes. Works with the systems technical team (MIS-EBS) to identify, plan, direct, and carry out accounting-related system projects and process improvement opportunities. Ensures efficient master data maintenance to ensure data integrity. Works to provide documentation and orientation regarding the Controllership processes created internally and as the result of interdepartmental processes and transactions.



Key Results Areas

Prompt processing and implementation of master data maintenance requests (e.g., GL accounts, vendors, customers, trans type/item codes, etc.).
Accurate and cleaned up master data records in the financial system.
Compliance with financial system project timeline with achieved milestones.
Implementation of accounting-related system projects and process improvements.
Up-to-date Controllership process manual and inter-department Service Level Agreements (SLA).


Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s/ College Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
At least 3 years of work experience in accounting and/or audit experience.
Knowledgeable and with working experience using enterprise systems (accounting applications) preferably SAP and/or NetSuite.
Experience in financial information systems analysis, project management, and implementation.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Possesses a high degree of independence, initiative, and decisiveness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.
