Job Description
Job Purpose
Electrical Engineer ensures the efficient and safe operation of all electrical systems and
equipment within the property. Their role is pivotal in maintaining a comfortable and
secure environment for guests and staff while upholding the resort's operational
standards.
Duties and
Responsibilities
● Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical
systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, elevators, fire
alarm systems, and other electrical infrastructure within the resort.
● Overseeing the installation of new electrical systems, equipment, and upgrades.
This involves planning, designing, and implementing electrical projects while
adhering to safety standards and local regulations.
● Ensuring that all electrical systems meet safety codes and standards.
Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve potential safety
hazards.
● Implementing energy-efficient solutions and technologies to optimize power
consumption and reduce utility costs without compromising guest comfort or
safety.
● Be involved in projects related to entertainment systems, audiovisual equipment,
spa facilities, and any other amenities that rely on electrical systems
● Perform electrical maintenance.
● Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment
specifications, and compliance reports. Providing reports to management as
necessary.
● Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of solar panels.
● Responsible for the efficient and safe installation of solar panels on the resort.
● Perform preventive maintenance of solar panels, batteries and cables.
● Check and repair all broken or damaged appliances.
● Receive and respond to any maintenance complaint which requires technical
skill.
● Keep all necessary maintenance tools.
● Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's
preferred).
● 1-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
● Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, etc.).
● Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
